Welcome!

St. Andrew’s-by-the-Sea
30 Church Road
Rye Beach, New Hampshire

St. Andrew’s-by-the-Sea is the Episcopal summer chapel in Rye Beach, N.H.

This year marks our 132nd season in which our doors have been opened to worshippers. Episcopal services actually began in Rye Beach in 1864 in the then nearby Farragut Hotel. This chapel was not built until 1876. Even though construction was not quite finished, the first service was held on August 4 of that year.

Holy Eucharist is celebrated on Sundays at 8:00 and 10:00 a.m. from late June through early September. Refreshments are served in the churchyard after both services.

On July 27th, we are pleased to welcome:

  • Celebrant: The Rev. Leonard Freeman, rector, St. Martin’s-by-the-Lake, Minnetonka Beach, Minn.
  • Music: Hymn sing

We hope to see you here!
