Chapel Life

Volunteer

Our all-volunteer chapel has amazing teams who graciously serve all facets in the life of St. Andrew’s. We are so grateful for them, for without their service we would not be able to accomplish all that we do. We welcome new volunteers and invite you to join in our fellowship with the generous giving of your time and talents.

Altar Guild

Are you looking for an opportunity to volunteer, meet new people, and become an integral member of the St. Andrew’s community? St. Andrew’s Altar Guild is looking to grow its committee. Our Altar Guild prepares the altar for Sunday services, with two volunteers scheduled for each weekend. The time spent is minimal and shared among members of the Altar Guild. We are looking for volunteers of all ages and are delighted to provide details and training for this rewarding opportunity to be a part of our wonderful summer chapel.

Hospitality

St. Andrew’s hospitality provides coffee and refreshments following Sunday services. Our Committee is open to all who would like to participate in assisting and preparing the coffee and refreshments for this beloved tradition. It’s a wonderful way to welcome new and returning worshippers and to enjoy fellowship each week at one of the most  scenic spots on the seacoast.

We need volunteers each week, at each service. If you are new, we will pair you with an experienced coffee host/hostess. Please consider volunteering one or two Sundays this  summer.

Wedding Committee

Wouldn’t you enjoy sharing your time to make a St. Andrew’s wedding a truly joyous occasion? Our volunteers play an essential role in each wedding by attending the rehearsal and wedding day to assist in any way we can. Since couples and their officiant are often unfamiliar with St. Andrew’s, our volunteers are crucial to our wedding ministry.  If you have time to commit to even one wedding a season, please join us in this rewarding experience.
