Oxford scholar and parish priest, the Rev. Jay MacLeod of All Saints Church in Bedford, England, will conduct services on Sunday, August 16th.
Jay grew up in the United States and has degrees from Harvard and Oxford Universities. At Oxford Jay was smitten with cricket and with Sally Asher. He and Sally are now married with three children; cricket remains a mistress. Jay has worked as a priest in Chesterfield and in the Lancashire mill towns of Stalybridge and Mossley. Prior to ordination, he worked as a community organizer in inner-city Boston and rural Mississippi. Jay has also lived and worked in India where his passion for interfaith issues was first kindled. In addition to being parish priest of All Saints Church in Queens Park, Jay is interfaith adviser to the bishop and diocese of St. Alban’s.
